Dany Heatley and Dan Snyder crashed Heatley's Ferrari on Monday night in Atlanta. Snyder had to have surgery on his brain, while Heatley had lesser injuries.

I hope they pull out of it ok, both of them.
Heatley is under Atlanta police custody over this...

Well the outlook is a little better today than yesterday. Snyder is now stable and the doctors think there was no damage to his brain. Whether or not he ever plays hockey again is yet to be determined.

Heatley should be ok after some re-hab, but he does have some legal issues to face now.

what is it with Hockey players and car accidents

Jonathon Girard - Bruins - severly wrecked himself, broken hips and many other bones

Not to mention in the past while playing in Boston Craig Mactavish and Jim Craig both got into serious trouble driving under the influence

Herb Brooks fell asleep at the wheel just a littel bit ago

and the list can go on and on

glad to hear they are ok

I really hope the CBA gets resolved and we don't have a lock-out next year. But because of it, this year there have been a lot of top level trades, so it will be an interesting season!

Well as most of you now know, Dan Syder passed away due to his injuries.

Dany Heatley is now facing criminal charges. How sad... :(
