ok, I was surprised there were no threads about Saturday's game.

So how disappointing was it to watch the Leaf's on Saturday?

I was bummed out, anyone else?

Diva, the silence was indeed deafening wasn't it?
Yeah I was disappointed as well. I didn't figure on a 4-0 loss!

We'll see what happens when they meet again in Montreal next Saturday!

Is Saku Koivou (sp) out for the Canadiens??

Watched that game the other night and it looked like a blowout, but theres just something cool when those two old-time teams get together. Just a great atmosphere and good story lines for the next game.

I do hope the next time they play, they play better. A 4-0 loss was just too horrible to watch! :bonk:

I saw him being interviewed on HNIC on Saturday night and he said he's starting to feel a lot better.

They didn't need him against the Leafs on Saturday though!

Uh-huh. and if Detroit doesn't win it, they might be able to join a seniors league or something.

So Leafs fans. Please explain how hard it was to see your team get shut out? I mean, I'm a habs fan, we don't really expect to win too much this year to be honest.

On saturday, was this you?
:badcomp: :bonk: ::-| :mad:

Then you might be a Leafs fan.

It was a sad sad day in hockey town. The ACC was silent. The refs sucked, the leafs played awful...nothing to cheer about at all. Until I went to a bar and shortly after I arrived the Leaf's came piling in =) So it wasn't a total loss for me anyway LOL

I thought about you, and wondered what your reaction was to the game. It must of mine hard to watch!!! My dad, is a hardcore Leaf fan, he was swearing his head off during the game. Oh well, season is still early. At least they played better last night!

I turned the game off after the first goal and watched trading spaces
My only wish is to see the LEAFS bring it home before I am too old to remember!

How can we come so close have such good players and always fall short.
I heard today that the Chicago Cubs have a curse on them since 1945, I think the leafs since 1967!

i love that there is hockey talk here almost daily. my roommate keeps telling me how it doesn't matter b/c it's the beginning of the season. i'm thinking about getting center ice (the cable/satilite thing to get everygame) but i might be moving...
