Personally, I installed and use the Google Toolbar. There is also the AltaVista toolbar, and I've just noticed another one for Alexa.

Anyone use them or is it just me?

Yo Chris,

You should also check out the Adult Webmaster Toolbar http://www.adultwebmastertoolbar.com/download.shtml

Especially because XNations is listed on it and has been since its launch :xthumbs:

We can also develop custom toolbars for any webmaster or company who would like their own branded toolbar to offer their surfers details of that service is found at http://www.adultwebmastertoolbar.com/custom.shtml

Regards,

Lee

I use my Google toolbar mainly for the PageRank (http://www.xnations.com/pageranks/) option.

What do the other toolbars have that justify you integrating it into your browsers?

I of course use the Google toolbar as well as the Dictionary/Thesaurus toolbar from dictionary.com

I used to use Alexa but realized I didn't actually pay attention to it much :)

Haha Yahoo has one too chris. I like using the Google Toolbar, however I think IE may follow Safari's lead (Google only) and evenually add a search bar directly into the browser where you can select your default engine in your preferences.

no toolbars here. never really had a use for them i guess. although i do see it looks like there's a google toolbar port to firebird now.

if you didn't know, in IE if you type in a search string, IE will search it for you (through microsoft search engines).

The only one I would even think of installing would be google. The rest are a waste of space on my screen as far as I'm concerned. Yahoo's toolbar is garbage and I clean it off the computers around here regularly after the guys start complaining that their browser doesn't work the same any more. I don't really see why anyone would want it unless they are a chat addict or something. I actually did install Alexa once but that was like 4 years ago and they haven't exactly added a whole lot of useful stuff since then.

We live in Google so we have that one.
I will check that adult one and perhaps install on another computer.
