Ok, my question is quite simple. How can I start a porn (video) business without being in one of the big "fuck cities" I have experience in all aspects of video production and even have a cute 19 year old girl to work with. But what I can't figure out is the distribution/selling part.

Any of you experienced wanna help out a new guy?

Toronto is home to some well known porn companies. Toronto is also home to quite a few porn webmasters. So, you are in a "fuck city", so to speak. <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/r/grins.gif" width="15" height="15">

What do you really want to do? Do you want to film porn and then sell the DVD's? Do you want to own your own paysite? Do you want to sell image sets or video that can be used for TGP, MGP, or other multiple uses? Do you want to work with someone or a company? Do you want to distribute your own video's or work with other companies?

What category are you looking to get into? Hardcore, softcore, fetish, anything that sells?

I guess my original question wasn't as simple as I thought it was. Since I have a strong background in video production I figured that would be my best way in. Is it likely I could get a job as videographer/editor for a established company ?

Also if I were to do this on my own what is the most common path? to shoot material and sell to others?

To get help on sales, you might should look also to get sold your content by one or two brokers which are around. If you are looking for one in Europe, you probably like to have a closer look to our site: http://www.skan-media.net

Maybe if you were to post a breif yet concise CV, one of the many Toronto area outfits might be able to use your talents ?

Prolly best way would be to upload your CV to a webpage, and then you could introduce yourself on a couple boards and give them the URL.

For a few minutes effort, you have nothing to lose ...
