I signed up right away!!

Had a BLAST playing in Miami... even though my cards sucked rocks. I mean, my top hand was a pair of 6s!

My cards were much better when I played last weekend, so I hope I didn't use up my "luck".

Good luck everyone and looking forward to meeting more of you!

Cheers:glugglug:

Shannon G Princess... did you know how to play before the tournament? I'm still learning...

Toolz... what is the entry fee?

I just learned this year... I've always known how to play poker in terms of what beats what, but I never had anyone correctly explain betting (checking, ante, raising, calling, etc) until this year.

It's not difficult at all... the betting, that is. It just takes the right person to clearly go through it step by step... as opposed to having a table full of people trying to explain it to you all jumbled up in there terms.

The strategy, bluffing, etc... totally different :) That's as simple or complex as you want to make it!

all in all... I'm hooked and I love it!!! Just wish I could find a fun, friendly game here sometimes :D

and the enty fee... nothing.

Cheers!

Last time I played roulette was a couple years ago at the MGM... we were stumbling through at about 4:30 am. Our friends took a seat in the lounge and the hubby and I wandered over to an empty roulette table.

We put down our bets and returned our focus to our drinks. When the wheel stopped, someone had won! We started clapping and cheering... WHOOHOO! WAY TO GO! GOOD FOR YOU!!...

The guy running the table said (very politely), "Um, there's nobody else at this table... just you...YOU won!"... and "I'm not supposed to say this, but if I were you, I'd probably head back to my room before I lose it all and then some" :p oops

Cheers!

Shannon G Princess, I like to play Roulette too. And moreso when I've been drinking. LOL
The casinos love this too. Drunk people gambling and usually not thinking straight. :bonk:

But it's a lot of fun, and you don't have to think too much to play roulette which is nice especially if you're a group of people hanging out and chatting etc...

I have a few good roulette stories too... :D

it's amazing what the casinos will let slide sometimes! Especially at roulette and craps where they want to draw a crowd. We've gotten away with throwing hundreds in cash bills down on crazy last second craps bets and they don't say a thing... sometimes it works in our favor, sometimes in theirs, but either way it creates a show so they love it (of course, I smack myself on the head the next day saying "WHAT were you thinking??"):D

Cheers!

You are so right! I had a dealer actually change the place of my chips on the roulette table a couple times leading me to a couple small pay offs, in the end they got all my cash, but they know how to get you!

Roulette actually has the worst odds but is a ton of fun. A group of us should get together at a black jack or roulette table and have some fun for a few hours!

You wanna hear some roulette stories hit up Ken from Webquest and his Red 27 mantra, I've seen him hit it twice and I know he's hit it quite a few times more. I stick to Blackjack and occassional craps, like to play what the casino has the least odds in, though I've been cleaning up at Party Poker as of late.

I'd be up for a group game at blackjack, roulette, or craps... just let me know when and where!... of course, I never do well at the Venetian's craps tables and my man isn't allowed to play Blackjack at Bally's anymore since he lost a large sum before breakfast one year :D

Cheers!

Shannon G I usually play the inside (and ALWAYS 0 and 00), and when I start to get way up I'll make big bets on red or black. I like to get crazy at Roulette when I'm doing well.

What I like is when someone just passes by and throws a yellow chip ($1K) down on red or black. Just a single bet win or lose and then they're gone. It always brings the pit boss over for a look.
