looks like they caught it (refrained from calling this person a him, because that would make them human... too much of a compliment)

I'm all for the judicial process, part of what makes this a somewhat civilized world, BUT in cases where there's very little doubt (like when you're caught with the smoking gun), I really wish we lived in a time like the Wild West when someone who commited any crime like this piece of shit, little "wannabe" sniper, would get tried, convicted, sentenced, and HUNG all in the same afternoon.

let's just say they did still do things like that, . . . .how do you think they would deal with porn webmasters?

It would be as bad as the Salem Witch Trials.

well I certainly don't think being a porn webmaster equates to killing 11 people. Besides, if blatant prostitution was legal in the days of the Wild West, I doubt they'd give a damn about pornography.

what happens when some religious moron says "i think porn peddlars should be shot on sight, even if i just suspect that they sell it"?

I am not talking about what would they do in the 1800's, I am talking about what would they do today?

While "blatant prostitution was legal in the days of the Wild West" you may have noticed that it no longer is.

ok, let me clear things up.
Do I think EVERYONE who's ever found guilty of any crime, or even a suspect in a crime, should be shot on sight? Uhh.... no.
Do I think killing 10 people is slighly different than selling porn? Yes

I don't think we should burn petty thieves at the stake just for entertainment on a Sunday afternoon. Nor was I truly suggesting that the individuals arrested for this particular crime should be denied the rights to the judicial process.

I think my post was merely the reflection of some rage about the heinous acts committed by these sick fuckwads who decided to use innocent civilians as target practice. If they're found guilty and sentenced to capital punishment, after they are allowed their 180 appeals, then death by electrocution or lethal injection is really just too kind.

I do apologize if somene believed I was condoning public hangings. ;)
