Web based icq do you use it?

Evil Chris showed me a link to it and i have been using it on and off.

IM not that techy so what the diffence between the too?

The only reason i use the web based one is cause my normal icq never wants to connect.

i dont like it as it moves slowly i find...and it doesn't hold the history.

Sometimes i need it to go back and remember what we were talking about..that sort of thing


However, it is certainly handy when on the road...so.

I use my regular ICQ, have never had a need to use the web based!

I've been forced to use the web based ICQ several times when my installed version is messing up on me. It's nice that it's there.

I got fed up and tried Trillian awhile back, but I felt like I had no control over my user list, so I went back to ICQ.

i used it when i was in florida when i was at a location where i did not want to install icq, so it was handy.

Due to Daron and I being "displaced" from our home and my laptop dying on top of everything else.....I started using ICQ2GO. Yes, there is no history available and that is a scary thing. Otherwise, it was a lifesaver to me!
