That is truly sad.
Will the ETA *ever* go away?

From what I understand about them, their beliefs aren't shared by very many in Spain in this day and age.

This is true, the basque people (part nothern Spain, Southern France)believe that they are not Spaniards, nor French, They want to form their own country....very long story....
