I guess that depends if the pleasure costs you anything, but there is really no free pleasure, time is needed to bring you pleasure.

So asking would you place money infront of pleasure?

Money is a necessity, it doesn't make people truly happy.

I'm a very focused, driven type person. If I want something, I'll get it. But, I will not put aside the things that make me smile or feel good. Whether it would be eating a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast one morning, or stopping work for a half hour to go for a walk or paint some craft project...

Some people become so obsessed with earning money, they forget how to live. They feel guilty because they took a half hour to eat lunch that was not business oriented.

Life is dull if you don't laugh at least once a day, or take a few minutes here and there to catch your breath and just appreciate the fact you can still breathe, you can still laugh, you can still move around...

Panky,

You have hit the nail right on the head, I notice that you are focused on strength and stability rather than greed for possessions..
