hi guys

i was wondering if this OS is any good, i dont need the server part of it, i just want to know if anybody had some good experience with it. i personally stick with 2000 server because it's a really solid os, probably the best os microsoft made according to my taste, way better than 2k pro, could be my hardware or whatever, just it works better.

so i wanted to know if the 2003 is even better or not, again i dont need the server's tools but only using it as a normal user.

thanks

In short: don't bother. If you are happy with 2000 stay with it. From everything I've heard the only real difference between 2k and 2k3 is in the server part. Which you don't want. And I've heard a few thousand horror stories about people having trouble migrating to 2003. Microsoft is pushing it hard but apparently it's their least successful release since WinME, with businesses being very slow to adopt it.
