I been a member of Airmiles since 1998 and have only about 1800 Points , i think i can get a blender or electric toothbrush

If you shop wisely, you can add up very quick ...

Remember to use it to fill up your gastank @ SHELL, to grab toilettries and such from JEAN COUTU, grab your favorite bottle of Merlot @ SAQ, and you can really rack them up shopping at IGA ... take 3 minutes each week to actually read their circular, and see which items are featured and which ones give you 2-5 bonus airmiles per item!

It is not uncommon for me to get 15+ extra airmiles ON TOP OF the 1 mile per $15 spent

I am not sure of my total as of now ... but it grows pretty quick, and I have already redeemed some a couple times ... got a coffeemaker and a family season's pass at Canada's Wonderland! :cool:

I got an Air Miles card about a year ago, use it all the time (liquor store, gas, groceries, etc...) and only have 104 reward points...

takes a LOOOOOONG time to build up points it seems

Anyway, ... Yes... I do have and use the Airmiles card thing. The catch is, it takes forever to actually be able to use it for something worthwhile just because the point system is so high.

Actually, I have a lot of gimmick type stuff though. Two of the main grocery store chains back home had a "Bonus card" type thing, Hallmark has their "Gold Crown", CVS Pharmacy has their "Extra Care" card...
