Because American beers suck compared to Canadian beer.?

That's a pretty good one! So are most of them in that list. The beaver one is pretty good. :D Twinkley should watch the Monday one. I wonder if the advertisers hit a mental block when it came to producing one for Weds?

How is American beer like sex in a canoe?
They're both fucking close to water! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Just kidding, Americans, I love you. Please don't bomb me.

'cause it tastes like water and the alcohol content is weak ?

What are your favorites?

Maybe I've missed some good ones. Hopefully, the ones you mention are available here. There are local laws against beer with a high alcohol content... :(

Kilkenny - Irish Cream Ale made by Guiness
Alexander Keiths - India pale ale from Nova Scotia. Great in draught
Sleemans

As for american beer, if I just want to have a few easy drinks, Coors lite isn't bad.

Had to test a theory. I had a Labatt Blue while I was at lunch, and I think it's great. It was the only Canadian brew they had.

is XX and Dos Equis the same? I thought it was Mexican... ?

Dos Equis is good I don't know if it's the same as XX. I believe Dos is a mexian beer.

I enjoy all the sleeman beers except the new low carb one that tastes like water.

Grolsch is a favorite along with Heineken.
Corona and Sol for the warm weather :)
Stella Artois always hits the spot.
Alexander Keits is ok not my favorite.

Domestic I enjoy the Blues: Blue and Blue Dry.
There are more that I can't think of right now.

Labatt Blue is better than Molson, that's for sure. But when you want to enjoy something good, you don't go to that one.

I think Dos Equis is the same as XX cause Dos Equis' logo is two red "X"

Stella is a bit of an aquired taste.

Beer sucks. I used to drink Ice House but beer is sooooo fattening and bloating and you need 7 beers to get buzzed (at least I do). I switched to Vodka & Red Bull.... now THAT is a drink.

I don't think it sucks. A nice drink is a nice drink, no doubt about it. Vodka Redbull is the best wake up drink out there. But sometimes you just want to chill out, and a beer is just nice. I agree that it is very bloating. A normal night for me is 6-7 Pints plus shots but once I ge tto 7 pints, I just can't take more beer. No because I'm drunk, just because it seems like a physical limit.

You're right about it being fattening and bloating, only takes me 4 or 5 to get smashed as opposed to your 7 so it's not that bad for me. I was drinking vodka & rebull on vacation I have to say it kicks ass but it definately can't be good for the nervous system lol!

I like Harp and Guiness, but I was hoping to find out about some more Canadian beers to put on my "gotta try" list.

Kinda hard to say cause there's so many and tastes vary a lot.
I say try them all. :)
As Sweet7 said, Moosehead is another one. I personally can't stand it, but some of my friends like it a lot.
