I'm pretty happy with this one, not only did it turn out great, but if you look closely, you can see the happy couple in a silhouette on the bench in the foreground. :)

Very nice pic.

These used to be difficult to make with film photography....

But it's getting sooo easy to make pics like that now that cameras display the pixel exposition histogram. Heck, I can now shoot full manual with manual flash and don't even need a flash meter! I almost regretted having spent the 400$ I put on my flashmeter.

New technology is fantastic !

It's the Burrard Street bridge on the edge of the downtown core

Heh, I agree... infact, the camera I used only costs around $300 anyway. It's the Canon Powershot A70... cheapy really. It's about the cheapest camera you can buy that comes with manual settings.

Just sit it on a tripod, or even a rock, set the shutter to 10 seconds and snap a pic like that one ;)

I love technology.

Heh.. not really, I mean, it's nice enough I guess. But it just looks like a pretty standard steel bridge during the day.

But they sure do light it up nicely at night ;)

Well, you can only see the water so many times in a row before it gets boring. Gotta change it up from time to time ;)

Here's one for ya though.

Gday Trish, yes I seen water views like this, that is why I like to look at Stuarts pictures as it brings to myself a every good feeling. Not a person but a feeling of being out on the water and on a boat with a rod in one hand and just relaxing. I am a water person. Not cause of my star sign, just that I love the water so much that it hurts not to be there.

BTW I have put together that package you wish for myself to post. So you will smile once again.

Take care and have a nice weekend. Hope you feel okay Trish, BTW Im wearing the nice smelly stuff you got me for my Bday and I also love the card, thank you for being so kind hearted.

love Mark

Thanx everyone, I'm glad you like them :D

Here's a couple parting shots...

This one had a full moon in the east, and a sunset in the west. So what you're seeing is the sunset in the reflection of those windows.

And my current wallpaper.. just something about the way the sun breaks the clouds like that... I like it.

Yup. My mother always told me almost so.

It was about the bath water if I remember well, though...
