that's a weird one... I bet it was just bottom text and the rest of the email was image based that never made it through due to blockage.

There are also tons of messages that go out where someone just hasn't figured out how to bulk mail yet. Messages with no header, or with un-translated merge fields (my favorite), and messages that are composed of just a bunch of mail headers with no messages.

Most likely it, i get those sometimes, but i have been receiving child porn spams lately, and it worries me, because i do not want to be anywhere near that kind of stuff and if it ends up in my inbox, that is not good news.

Report it to http://www.asacp.org/

and put your email address in the field so that they will email you that they have gotten it, then print it out...

Spam has always had my interest... I love watching it seeing who’s new in the business, you start to get to know your spammers by their emails.

One day when I find a spammer in person that does it the legal way Im going to pick their brain dry of all their business model, and marketing ideas. :D

I have only meat two spammer online and they both where making over 300,000 a month from it, so it has my interest!

not every spammer is a sophisticated genius who lives in a mansion....a lot of them are just amateurs who just bought their first AOL email list CD and picked up a cracked copy of darkmailer off IRC

the ones who are good ones (those who get me to open the email and sometimes even click a link) are like artists to me.

kind of like taggers, you know thye are a menace, but when their work is good, you have to sit up and take notice and have at lest a little admiration for them in perfecting their "art".

Amateurs grow on trees! :D but they must grow from somewhere to become the "sophisticated genius".

I have a few small spam list.. err newsletter weekly, and the conversions will make you smile!

I think even in the world of mass spamming if a newbie managed to get their hands on 1 billion confirmed email address and only 2% of them signup with your program that would be 20,000,000 signups, and at lets say $10 per signup... Mahaha... lets just say I would have sex with that check! :)

BTW what’s a taggers?
