I'm curious to know what everyone is using for screen resolution nowadays.

mine is 1280x960 - not listed - 19 inch monitor 96DPI IntelR extreme graphics card

at the office it's a 17 inch monitor with almost no video card so even at the lowest listed above the resolution breaks up. yuk!

I use 1280 x 1024 one one monitor, and 1600X1400 on the other

I change sometimes, just depends on how my eyes feel..usually the first option.

I use 1280 x 1024 it's the only setting that looks good on the monitors I have!

1024x768 for me...

Cyndalie

Yeah, it really depends on the size of the monitor and the quality of graphics card. The higher the better I'd say, although I do alot of text heavy work so I need to save my eyesight

CRT
vs. CRT Dynaflat
vs. LCD / flatscreen/laptop

Mine is weird, actually.. I have a triple monitor setup with three 19" monitors, each at 800x600.

Where's the option for 640x480 :(

Actually I use 1152x864. It gives me a little extra room in things like dreamweaver and premiere for all the menu windows. I would use 1280x1024 but my monitor will only do it at 60hz which is waaaaaaaaay to flickery and hard on the eyes. At the 1152x864 I can run at 75hz.

Never below
1280 x 1024

The only resolution! :)

1024X768 here
it wasn't that long ago that I was still using 800x600 (bad eyes)
but it's easier to have it at 1024x768 for design purposes

1024 here! Some people here use more than that but for me 1024 is beautiful! :)

I chose 1600x1200. But you need good eyes or a huge monitor to use that resolution. Fortunately I have both.

I love when other people look at my screen and say the text is too small for them to read. I tell them that's the point. :)

I have a 17" monitor at work and at home, so till I get off my ass and go get some 19" ones, I'm staying at 1280x1024. I'd rather be at 1600x1200 though.

I run 1280 on my lappy and the 17" at work. In the lab in my basement, I have two that top out at 1024, and my main desktop for design work that has a dual display. The dual is a 19" set at 1280 and a 15" set at 800 for helper apps and Photoshop close-ups.

1024 though I could go higher,

I was interested to see this poll started at 1024 and not at 800
that's cool!

I luvvvv lotsa visual real eastate...

I have a Diamond Pro Mitsubishi 20" 90dpi that I run, most of the time, at 1600x1200

but when I design for the web, I bring the res down to 1280x960 (4:3) so that things appear more the normal size for a 72dpi monitor
