Whassup everyone! :)
Well overnight last night, we experienced our first major snowfall of the winter. Looks as though we're going to have heavy snow this year, as compared to last year where we got hardly any at all.

Here check out the live cam from Place Jacques-Cartier in Old Montreal (where by the way, Funbrunette and I had dinner with Raya, Colin, Angie, and some other fine folks from wasteland.com)

Now it's time for me to take the dogs out and do some shovelling!

Snow?? What's that??

Being in Vancouver.... we don't get to see that stuff much, unless we go up to Whistler or something :D

Wish I could afford Christmas in Barbados.

I normally go boarding in Davos or Saas Fe (Swiss Alps).

Maybe I should buy a new board... my old one is 3 years old...

Maybe I should buy a new board... my old one is 3 years old... I skiied on the glacier in Saas Fe in September of 1991. I always wanted to go skiing in the summer and so my friend and I did it. What a great experience except that everything closed at around 3 in the afternoon because it was too warm!
We were skiing in just thin ski pants and sweat-shirts...

How did you like Saas Fe, Evil?
It's really a nice place but I consider it even for Swiss standards as very expensive...

I thought Saas Fe was beautiful... it's like this green valley at about 3000 metres and you just keep going higher and higher to get to the glacier. I hope to go back again someday. Yes, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for too. I remember we drove our car onto a train to go through the Swiss Alps. It was gorgeous...

Well, my day started by shovelling the driveway out at 8am this morning. And, like clockwork, the city snow plough went right by not two minutes after I finished.
