Did you ever listen to someone speak and it wasn't necessarily what they were saying, it was the way that they pronounced their words that just got your attention and maybe turned you on?


Two of my favorites are the Scottish and Irish accents. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but some people's accents are sexy!

but seriously... I love accents. They don't turn me on, but I love them. I'm a bit of a voice over guy, worked in radio on the air before the website making biz.

I have mastered a bunch of accents, and impressions and do lots of other voices.

I usually get a good chuckle outta people doing all kinds of accents. Particularly around the office, where 2 of the co-workers have major english accents :D

I'm a sucker for accents, as long as I can understand the other person (unless it's just a pure booty call of course hehe). Thick accents are still sexy, but can be hella annoying if you're trying to sweet talk the lady and can't understand a word she's saying.

I have to admit that I also like a lot of accents... there are a few that make me cringe sometimes, though.

Some of the French accents are very easy on the ears for sure.
Indian accents just make me laugh... like Apu from the Simpsons. :D

I had an english friend... who worked on a cruise ship for many years, so his accent was in constant flux.... he seemed to pick up bits and pieces, so by the time I met him, there was no name for what accent he had.

But it was still english to a point....

So anyway, for fun, I'd always get him to say "Walter's got a hot water bottle"

Because when he said it, it would sound like
"Wa ow's ga a hau wa ow ba ow"

I used to kill myself laughing every time he said it :bonk:

Actually even more than accents I love the timber of a voice, a beautiful husky voice is grand. I have to admit I have ruled people out as partners based on their voice. I don't have a very cool accent at all. I'm from the States. Pennsylvania to be exact. I grew up in an area surrounded by Amish. PA Dutch is spoken everywhere, which is basically slang German.
