And quit smoking...Although I only smoke about 4-6 cigarettes a day (depending on my stress level...lol)

I thought I'd make it fun and maybe do it through Xnations.....Anybody else want to become a quitter? This could be fun and we could even throw in a bit of money or something for incentive....(I'll even show my Tatas...lol)

Ok, bring on the ideas peeps! :smoker:

I don't smoke, but I'm willing to give up my chocolate habit.

Anyone else want to join in?

I hate being around chicks that smoke. Its a nasty habit and makes a beautiful lady look dirty. It used to be that chciks did it to look more sophisticated or classy, but IMHO its nothing I can't see at the local trailer park. On a side note I love the smell of tabacco and mary jane before it is lit.

Funbrunette, Smoking is a habit that I myself could do without.
Like right now I am enjoying a single beer and smoking a cigarette.
While sitting here and relaxing, to expel the days events out from my
mind. I don't know how to switch off. I feel axioty, its hard to explain.

Though each day I push myself more and more not to light one up.
Like sometimes I would sit here and not light it even though it is
sitting on the tip of my lips and dancing up and down slighly
while I flick my tongue over the filter part and play with this
non burning cigarette.

But smoking is killing my lungs, it is so wrong, though I still light up.
I just bought a packet and the foil had just been unwrapped.
Its weird plastic feeling as screw it up.

I am all for you Funbrunette. I am ready too. Don't need to smoke!
I just do it cause it is there to do. I control my life. Not bloody Winfield.

My lungs are still very full of fight if I quit now before the end of the night
I stood up just then and yelled out NO MORE!

So... now I am bored. Need help. Also need cheering up.

I like my chocolate thank you, cause it is known that
dark chocolate can reduce blood pressure.

My Mother started smoking at 11 years old.
Her father gave her her first smokes after the War was over in Hungary. [WW2]

My father quit when I was born.

My mother quit when my sister and I left home. She was in her early 60s and did not want my father to live alone.

She used the "patch" and never looked back. She is now 70 and my father is 74 next month.

The swim every morning and as far as I can tell still "get giggy with it " every day too!

So you can do it too!

The only way to quit is cold turkey. It worked for me 8 years ago. It was the hardest thing to do but if you put your mind to it you will succeed! Good Luck!:)

It will be 4 years Nov 19th, my motivation is how shitty the first 2 weeks felt when I quit cold turkey. I will never go through that again.
