I've heard that Kazaa is now "out" as it were as the most popular P2P client/system.

What's the big one everyone is using now?
Maybe more importantly, does it include a ton of adware/spyware?

Kazaa got shitty as hell ther eat the end. Would have to download a song 10 times before you got a decent usable one. A friend of mine suggested IMesh but that was the most aweful shit I have ever experianced.

ZeroPaid (http://www.zeropaid.com/) is a pretty interesting site. It's a portal site.

Well kazaa is totally out
k++ (kazaa lite) is ok but full of spyware
Limewire is way nicer than k++(kazaa) but it's sometimes harder to get a song.

I have heard about Limewire. Any good? Tough to get a song?
Everyone must be somewhere now... I would like to know where.

Give a try. It depends what you're trying to get too but give it a try.

You should notice right away that it beats kazaa hands down for functionality.

It's right at limewire.com

heres another thing for you to try
http://suprnova.org/

you need to download the client from here and install it
http://bittorrent.com/

The quality of what you get here is usually top notch.
It can take a hell of a long time to get a movie though.

I have freinds who say they download really fast from here though so it might be worth a shot.

That's an understatement. Kazaa Lite (Desktop Media Version?) has Spyware that redirects surfers from paysites to their own search engine. Fuckers.

Yeah theres an option during install that you can click.
Pretty sneaky of them.
I haven't been redirected by them but what it did do is overwrite my hosts file thus preventing me from going to certain sites.

And it also causes blocking of some ad stuff from other sites like pogo.com
