When I was a kid in high school I wanted to a chef. Really.

One of my first jobs was working at a restaurant. I was a cook, cashier, watier, and ran the catering service. The head cook there was an older man; He was paid good money, worked long hours, and clearly enjoyed his job.

The high school I attended had vocational program where students ran a restaurant open to the public right out of the high school. My goal was to do this for four years, and then join the Marines as a cook, and then attend Culinary Arts Institute in San Francisco.

I ended up leaving the high school I was in and after a quick stint in Montreal I ended up in a school that didn't have a culinary program, and when I landed in the Marines I was infrantry and not a cook.

What were your dreams and goals, and how close did you come to making them happen?

Growing up, I always thought I'd get into veterinary medicine, or go into the medical field. I'm one of those people that has a very patient, nurturing type personality. Plus, I'm a big time animal lover. I figured I'd end up taking care of animals or people. In 11th grade, we were given the option to tour through the Vo-tech schools. If a trade interested us, we could then go to a tech school for our senior year of high school. It wasn't until then, that I got exposed to dentistry. When my senior year rolled around, I entered into the tech program for dentistry. I loved it. Graduated and made a career in dentistry for 13 years. I was still taking care of people, which is just who I am.

Now, all I want to do, is take the skills I have in the adult industry and maximise them to my fullest potential.

As far as taking care of people and animals, I still do that. I have a bf and a kitten. Both of which are really spoiled. :D

I always wanted to work in the adult industry. I almost made a sale last week, I had 1 click. That's good right?

But seriously, I wanted to play professional pool. I used to play about 40-50 hours a week, plus work. I got good enough that I was sponsored for some tournaments, played a lot of the local pros back then. Kind of regret not continuing when I see Alex Pagulyan play on TV, I played him once in a pre-tourney practice and now he's on TV playing for world championships, and I don't even have my cue anymore.

I was young once and back then all I could think about was motor racing and always wanted to be a race car driver on circuit both on road and off.

Okay grew up and my ways of thinking changed and now I enjoy to watch motor racing.

With setting and achieving my goals I feel that I am good at alot of different things, some more than others. Some of the goals I have set are in motion already and others are future plans of where I would like to see myself inside of 5 & 10 years. It is always my level of thinking to "Work to Learn and never Work for Money!" I make it a pratice to give first, the more I give the more I receive and if I don't love it, I won't take care of it.
I work with porn because i enjoy looking at it. I could look at it all day long, when problems arise, the problems are not so bad that it changes view with working with porn. For people who hate their job working with porn they shouldnt do it.

With dreams and goals, the process is always the same. You need to know what your looking for and then go look for it.

Have a great day!

Mark

I always wanted to work with animals as a child. I was taught to ride horses at 5 years old. But when I got older and realized part of the job of being a vet was putting down animals I knew I would never become a vet. (Panky I see why we get along so well) We rescue every stray...lol

My second choice would of been working as a CSI or something related to the field.

But in the end I got the most beautiful gift and privilege...being a mother and a wife! I wouldn't change anything! I got in this biz and met some wonderful people...Friendships for life! :D

Oh yeah in a previous life (seems that long ago) I was working as a Human Resources Manager...Got fed up of hiring and firing people! :bonk:

To have as few regrets as possible.

I really didnt care about what job I was going to be in, since to me that was only money, what was more important to me as a kid was if I was going to be happy when I grew older - I had seen too many adults doing so many different jobs, yet none of them were happy.

It was when I was helping out in a seniors home that I did in my spare time as a teen that I saw how people died. Some were bitter, others were so happy with their life. Many had amazing stories of triumph over difficult times - yet none of them really focused on what they did for work as a living or highlight for their life.

Happy home, family, kids and making the right decisions seemed to be the key

Great way to look at life man. I look at it the same way. money is money, it's not a goal. I've always put happiness above money when it came to jobs in the past.

Just remeber, it's better to have regrets for things you have done than for things you haven't .

I was the lead in most of my HS plays and was a Theatre major in college and did a few indy films and commercials before moving out to Hollywood CA at the age of 23 to be a famous actor... unfortunately it didn't work out that way. (Seth Green has my career LOL)

Managed to get quite a bit of television work but never enough to live on, and just enough to keep my dream alive. By the time I hit 30 I figured it was time to cash it in and hang it up. I had relatives in the biz that were pretty much showing me that they weren't going to do anything for me (nepotism in Hollywood?? LOL... silly me for thinking it woulda happened to me).

Anyway... flash forward 6 years... now I want to be comfortable, productive, happy, and the best dad I can be. Strange how priorities change...

I wanted to be the one in the family that was the bread winner. Have my own company, the hubby stays at home with the kids kinda thing and of course that did not work out the way I planned.

As of 2003 I started my own company and have been progressing well but I eventually want this to be my only source of income in the next couple of years. I have managed to get quite a bit of free advertising and I just shot a sequence for a health show coming up on CP24.

I wanted to be a rock star when I was younger, until I almost became one and saw how much it sucked to be one.

Now, I just want to enjoy what I do for a living, but not have it the focus of my life, and I wanna ride my motorcycle every day.

I have several goals both personally and professionally. All off which fall under the category of continually striving to attain the success standards I set for myself.

I also try to be thankful for all I have achieved and that life has given me.
