Sharky,

Nice bbq site you have but a gas grill - wood man, wood. I am a Kansas City native and that is where the the best bar-b-que comes from. ( Memphis has good bbq also )

Me in between standing in front of the grill.

No worries... I love my gasser, but have a Weber Kettle, a Weber Smokey Mountain and an Orion Cooker. I do my share of it all. I still prefer to cook gourmet of country BBQ. I've always said, I'm a griller not a BBQ'er. However I do both quite well!

Diet and excercise.. going to the gym 5-7 days a week for at least a year. sticking to the diet regimine and making it a life change, not just a diet. Oh.. and I had support from my wife as she lost about 85lbs too. check out www.shapefit.com and you can see our pics on the front

You guys look AMAZING! It's a motivating story for anyone who wants to get back into shape! :xthumbs: I'm not a gym rat, but I do workout a minimum of 4 times a week and watch what I eat...The result: I feel amazing! I even sleep better! and have more energy to chase my 4 year old around...lol

Oh and tell your wife she is sizzling! *drool*

Thanks, I'll tell her;-) It's all about how you feel and what is comfortable for you. I never really had a problem being fat. Sure I couldn't tie my shoes or walk for too long, but it didn't really bother me as I figured ways around it. I enjoyed my life. However after losing the weight, I am amazed at the things I wasn't able to do with my kids. I play with them all the time now. Go run around the neighborhood, play football and baseball, etc. My life did change. I won't ever go back.

Here's me. I've been working out too. I got a great tan going too. I think I need to work out my shoulders a little more though, they look too small.
