Yup, I use my bicycle to go to university and I love it ! forces me to move, did 5 hours total last week just because of school. Maybe I'm going to lose that belly someday after all.

Well, I've yet to see you hump anyone's leg in public, so you're not SO bad, Baddog!

Hi all,

My first car was a 1993 Nissan 240SX. I bought it new 9 years ago, and I'm still driving it! I love it!

Evil Chris 09-12-2002 11:08 PM

aaahhhh..... I didn't even notice that.... :D

Yeah that was a special with the 72 Fury III model... Each car came with a garden gnome on the hood....

luke 09-13-2002 12:01 AM

haha, that is pretty funny looking.

modF 09-13-2002 12:19 AM

My first car was also from 1972. It was (is) a plymouth valient, it is parked in my garage out back with 78,000 original miles on it. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures of it, it will be getting paint later on in the month if I can get it there. Runs great, doesn't stop for a shit.

btw: anyone happen to have a brake booster for a valient laying around :)

modF.. welcome to xnations
I'd like to see a pic of that Valiant if you can get one... I like the old muscle cars of the 60s and 70s... They were gas guzzlers for sure, but they went like hell and were easy to fix...

She sure did! There's even still some coffee left. Thanks for picking that up for us, dude... very cool!

Cyndalie 09-13-2002 12:23 PM

My first car was a 1991 Eagle Talon. I had it for 5 years and ran it into the ground, traded it in with 97,000 miles and a brand new transmission for a new Honda Civic EX Coupe. The Honda makes driving boring compared to the umph my Talon had, god I miss that car! Punk rock stickers and all!

modF 09-13-2002 12:36 PM

Chris, I'll see what I can dig up, if worse comes to worse I'll just trek out there and take some with the digital :)

Cyndalie, I have a few of those on the valient :)

princess 09-13-2002 02:00 PM

Hell, I can beat you all. My first car was a 1972 Ford Pinto. LOL! My parents bought it for me when I turned 16. It was a gold awful gold color. I even had a name for it. BiFer. It stood for bumble fucker.. cause that was one fucked up POS!

I've come a long way over the years and owned quite a few cars. My latest is a 2002 Interpid.!

Ounique 09-13-2002 02:07 PM

My first car was a 73' mustard colored Chevy Nova with a hatchback!!! I bought it from this little old lady who only drove it to church. People laugh when I say that because they think it's some story a car salesman told me but I really did. I lived next to her. I didn't even know she had the thing until I saw it in the back of her garage. How funny is that.

princess 09-13-2002 02:09 PM

That's almost as bad as mine. wait that is worse then mine. But I think it's the mustard color that did it. What a ickky color for a nova..

Although I do like the corvettes in that bright yellow. Those just look sharp!

Yeah, it was kinda icky, but you know what? That thing was a tank. I got hit in the rear "no jokes, please" and the girl's car was all smashed in and my little baby didn't even have a scratch. I kinda miss that little car. I drove it to death. I think my dad sold it for a dollar.

Raph 09-13-2002 03:24 PM

My first car, which is also my actual car, is a Ford Focus ZX5 midnight blue :D

cyberpimp 09-13-2002 05:07 PM

Mine was a 1976 Pinto, that I bought for 1$, no shit, someone wanted to give me the car. But to avoid $200 gift tax. I paid a dollor for it and then my tax was $.02. No shit I am not kidding

BobbyR 09-13-2002 05:12 PM

Mine was a 1984 white mustang. Not the cool kind but the really ugly lift back kind.

Tkt2Pardse 09-13-2002 05:14 PM

1977 Chevy Vega!!! 16yrs old showing it off doing nuetral drops with it and shattered the gears in the rear end. yay.

Evil Chris 09-13-2002 05:19 PM

OK I figured we'd get some lemons in this thread!!!!

krosh 09-13-2002 05:21 PM

modF 09-13-2002 05:43 PM

I think my Valient Scamp was the same as the Dart Swinger, both had 318's in them. Not too sure about what the difference was with the Customs though.

My first car was a 1974 black and white bobcat, everyone called it the skunk. the white stripe was right down the center of the car, I had that car for a year before my brother in law ran her dry of oil and siezed the motor.
