Google - promote/remove

Anyone notice on www.google.com that you can now promote a site/result to the top or even remove a site from the results?

I wonder what this will mean for the many of us who get a lot of SE traffic?

In the future they are going to rely on that "wiki" style thing a lot more to influence search results. Start upping your sites http://photosnag.com/img/1949/t08j1110iyaz/cool.gifhttp://photosnag.com/img/1949/t08j1110iyaz/cool.gif

What did I think it was?

I think it's just for your user perferences because if you log out you don't see those option.

Even so, I'm sure if you have 10000 users adding your paysite to a search result it can't hurt your relevancy in the primary index. Just as removing crap listings can help get rid of bad listings - mass moderation I guess.
