I'm looking forward to Peyton having another great year!

There is the Green Bay Packers and then everyone else in the NFL! No better place to watch an NFL game than Lambeau Field.

How do you think they will do this year?

Don Soporno 08-09-2006 11:27 AM

I am a packers fan also. I think they will have a better season then last year but I think there will still be some nagging issues that hold us back. I hope not but you never know. I also am a Giants fan because I have watched Eli Manning since he was in high school.

9-7 or 10-6. They will DEFINATELY be better than last year. I can't wait to go to some games this year.

Evil Chris 08-09-2006 04:15 PM

I've enjoyed NFL football more in the past several years.
I don't know why I got back into it so much. Maybe because I gave up on MLB and also the NHL strike might have had something to do with it.

Anyway I have a new appreciation for football. I hope the Colts can put it together this year. I don't want to make any predictions though. :)

JoeyCanoli 08-10-2006 10:56 AM

Well considering that the packers have same team as last year minus some key players I dont think they will be any better than last year. Personally, im a steelers fan, and no...I didnt jump the band wagon last year, I've been a steelers fan for more than a decade.
I say watch out for San Diego, I think they're due some glory this year. I dont think there is anyone else in the league that can stop the run as well as they do and they have some real talent on offense. The only questionable factor which would determine how far they go is Phil Rivers.

I'm going to buy my own football team then fire them all except the placekicker. He will then kick any insubordinates in the balls when I summon him.

Excellent.

Excellent.

A CFL team or an NFL team? Rules are slightly different in each league.

Cold_ice 08-11-2006 04:06 PM

Hey Chris are you going to start a Fantasy football league this year?

I was not aware of any distinction. I will have Smithers research this further.

I was born to bleed Black and Gold -- Pittsburgh Steelers.

Yea baby! However I don't think they're making the playoffs this year. They had no trades or pick ups in the off season and other teams in their division look more promising such as the ravens and bungles.

It all depends on how rothlesberger will play this year.

Janell 08-14-2006 05:44 PM

I just bought a new Vikings jersey for when we are the 2007 Superbowl champs. I want to look my best for when I am gloating at the bar. A few years back we had our family photo taken in our Vikings jerseys. We play for keeps at my house.

Short Irish Guy 08-15-2006 10:15 PM

heh. If Car had a decent offensive line, they wouldn't be 1/2 bad! At least the stadium is nice. ;-)))

Evil Chris 08-24-2006 11:17 AM

I'm looking forward to the season.
We can't tell much about how it's going to turn out by watching these pre-season games.
