Jenna Jameson reveals Guillain-Barré syndrome diagnosis after losing ability to walk

Many of us have met Jenna at a trade show and will be surprised to hear what has happened recently to her. Amazing what aging can do and what life has in store. Hope she can pull together and have some quality of a good life.

Jenna Jameson has revealed that she's been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.

The 47-year-old model and former porn star took to Instagram on Monday to share an update on her health woes from a hospital in Hawaii.

The star spoke directly to the camera in a video she shared on Instagram.

"Hey guys, what's up? I wanted to check in. I'm in the hospital still," she began. "We've got some answers. I'm dealing with a little syndrome called Guillain-Barré. So, working through that."

She then thanked fans for their continued support throughout her stay in the hospital.

According to the CDC, Guillain-Barré syndrome is a "rare, autoimmune disorder in which a person’s own immune system damages the nerves, causing muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis."

Symptoms can last for several weeks or years. While most people can recover, some have permanent nerve damage.

Later in the day, she shot another video from her hospital bed while receiving an "infusion" of some sort.

I visisted her house once in Phoenix when she lived there. It was fucking massive.

I worked with her at Playboy. She was horrible.

Oddly I've been hearing a lot about that over the years so I can't understand why it is when I'm with her she's the sweetest thing - nice - and can hold her own in a conversation. Strange to get both sides

That is sad to hear. Hopefully she will recover quickly.
