Doctors around the country have begun charging patients for services that have traditionally been free, according to the American College of Physicians.

I don't like it ... but I'm suprised it hasn't happened before now. They are like any other business. Lawyers bill in 6-minute increments nowdays, and charge for phonecalls and copies too.
