Canada decides: How do we treat the unvaccinated?

So Canada is in a very difficult decision right now - there are roughly 10% anti-vaxers that are putting a strain on the remaining population at this point. Whether it's personal belief cause by misinformation or whatever they are refusing to take the shot therefore are the first ones in the hospital sick. Which is putting a strain on everything and in Ontario putting us in lock down again.

Now - is the sad conversation they are having - what do you do about them? Withhold services - start separating them from the rest of Canada through vaccine passports? Only let fully vax'd kids go to school? Only allow fully vax'd to do anything but those who refuse must stay indoors away from everyone?

Some tough decisions - and whether you think it's fake or not - isn't what's happening - it's separation of the population who refuse no matter what. Obviously you can't argue with someone who's refusing to take the shot - we've had 2 years trying to do that and still no changes - so now - conversation is over - and freedoms are now being discussed.

What's your feelings? For the reasons to continue on with society and growth should we just let anti-vaxer's continue on but must quarantine away from everyone - kids home etc. or allow the whole country to continue on as it is with slow recovery and this all affecting us all?

From the article

Hundreds of thousands of Canadians are not getting the care they need because of the strain, according to CMA President Dr. Katherine Smart.

“As a society, we have made a decision to allocate resources disproportionately to this group of Canadians at the expense of other Canadians, including children who are now not able to attend school. And I think we’re sort of acting like it’s not a choice, but it is a choice,” she told the Big Story Podcast.

“We’re also seeing Canadians lose their lives because they’re not able to access the health care they need because of the system overwhelmed with COVID.”

She stresses she never wants to talk about not providing full care to patients, but believes serious discussions are needed as hospitals, doctors, and nurses reach a breaking point.

Smart says we’ve been led to this critical point by the decision of a relatively small group of people.

“We have this small minority — about five to 10 per cent of the population — that are leading us to where we are right now, and I think we need to get serious about what we’re going to do about that,” Smart added.

Case numbers have spiked across Canada over the past several weeks, with hospitals also seeing rising numbers of patients with the virus admitted.

The rapidly spreading variant has forced many jurisdictions to delay certain hospital procedures that are deemed “non-urgent.”

More than 77 per cent of Canadians have received a full course of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Anti-Vaxxers are making everyone sick. Literally. I want to have zero empathy for them but then I realize that they are just victims of misinformation and their own stupid stubborn selves.

Here in Quebec they announced that as of Jan 18th or so, you will not be able to by booze or pot without showing proof of FULL vaccination (Full vaccination now means 3 shots). It has pissed off alot of people. I love it.
