Someone sent me this link on Twitter, and the pictures are just amazing.

Sorry for the blatant plugging, but it just seems appropriate.

You should try visiting

for anything costa rica. One of our friends of the business owns it.

The birds in CR and Panama are an ornithologist's dream!

As a bird watcher, it makes me want to go there just to see them myself.
Amazing birds.

No kiddin... I'm just a backyard birdwatcher myself.
But when I travel, I tend to take notice of the bird life since it often differs with what I'm used to at home.

Chris you have an open invite anytime...
I wake up in the morning to parrots...and every day about 8am I get two beautiful (and giant) macaws flying over...

seeing a Tucan in real life is something else...

I would love to see colorful tropical birds in their natural habitat. That would be so cool.

This year I'm getting a hummingbird in my backyard at the feeder, which is fairly uncommon. I've seen it only a few times, and I'm never quick enough to get a picture, but if I do you'll probably hear about it in no time. ;)
