Advertising suggestions?

Hi everyone! Hope everyone's been enjoying the holidays, and is looking forward to 2007!
:bless:

I would like to hear what others have found to be good places to advertise adult websites. I already know about Google Adwords (and Googel Base), as well as textlink advertising (ie, adbrite). They are ok, but didn't give a good retrun.
:geez:

I'm looking at putting more focus on advertising in adult only publications. I would like to know which tends to have better results, in regards to sales (these are only examples): paying for advertising on big sites such as playboy and hustler, or paying for advertising in the various local publications? What have your experiences been?
:scram:

There are a couple of places that I have used personally.
http://topspots.askjolene.com/
and
http://www.chokertraffic.com/

Both are good for different reasons of course. Those are just a couple that come to mind.

We use a ton of PPC engins, Example: Goclick, Google, search123, searchfeeds, and many more. With Google what Ive learned is that you have to go small or go BIG. Ive tried to bid for years in the middle and lost every time. You can set it at a very low idle bid so its running constantly then do huge spurts at 2 or so days at a time. My experience with Adbrite of the last 3 years has been HELL. I don't know why I use them.

Also, I would suggest to play around with the local sites/publications and build some skills and knowledge. Then I would test out the bigger ones. From my experience they can bring in some quick cash, but it is more of a long term investment.

Yeah i would advice you to go for chokertraffic!

They have been around for a very long time in the traffic business and at the moment they are improving the quality of their overall traffic!

I tend to target sites to advertise on by niche or type of site. You want to find the right mix of traffic and targeting for a good return. Try out some affordable adspots at Crazyshit.com and abum.com - their mixed mainstream traffic normally had a decent return for adult sites.

For me www.clicksagent.com works much better

Paid inclusion works nicely because it's like SE traffic, but controlled.

Best advice is if you have some budget to speak of, a little here and a little there goes farther for exposure than a lot all in one place.

Also, depends if you're looking to brand, or get traffic to click to joins.

Traffic Dude and Wildline do paid inclusion on Yahoo and it converts well even on live video chat, which is notorious for a longer conversion term than regular content sites.
