IE7 is pissing me off

If you use your daisy wheel to scroll a webpage up or down, it starts to auto-scroll... even if you stop turning the wheel.

That alone is driving me insane. Anyone know how to stop that? :arrr:

I haven't used it .. doing good with FF

Firefox is quite good. I resisted it at first but now I see that it is a more stable browser than IE. Well, IE6 anyway. I am not familiar with IE7 yet. I have heard good and bad things about it.

Sarah_MaxCash 11-30-2006 11:01 AM

I can't even be bothered to try it.

Just for information sake, I found the fix to this IE7 scroll issue.
It's a Logitech problem apparently.

If you are having this issue, here's what to do:

Start> Settings> Control Panel> Mouse>

> Buttons Tab

In the bottom section check off :
"Use MS Office Compatible scroll only"
and
"Scroll in active window only"

Glad you figured it out!

Another issue I'm seeing with IE7 is when I'm in multiple .htaccess areas that require passwords, when I go back and forth between tabs it prompts me for my password again, it's saved, so all I have to do is hit enter, but it's annoying...
