Just checked my account balance and just saw that my bank account has been emptied! Seems I've been a victim of fraud! I'm soooooooooooo pissed off right now! :viking: BASTARDS!

I must say I'm impressed I just got back from the bank and everything is taken care of. Still I can't believe it's that easy to clone someone's bank card! I'm going to start putting all my money under my matress! :laughout:

I can't really tell you when they cloned my card (Of course the bank won't give you the information where they think your card was duplicated) So I'll never know who/when/what all I can say is that now I'm paranoid...lol At the end of the day it's just money and it can be replaced, but I'm amazed how people can get away with this scam...When you think about it it's brilliant (for someone with no conscience...lol)

Better call Equifax or Transunion and check out any hits on your credit to ensure they didn't get anything else information wise from your card

It happened to me as well. About 2 years ago someone hacked into my RBC account and fleeced me for $2400.

I had to sign some docs, but I got it all back.

What I hate is when I get a call from RBC saying that my cards have all been cancelled due to suspicious activity from their fraud control centre. While I appreciate them looking out for me, it's a hassle to have to go down to the bank, veryify everything, get a new card activated etc...

did you check to see if Chris bought some new clubs?

OMG, that really sucks. You're so lucky everything worked out okay. I got an email from my back a few weeks ago telling me my account was frozen because someone tried to charge $200 in a bar in Japan! Luckily the bank didn't approve the charge and I wasn't out any money. Then the next weekend I spent the weekend in a section of Los Angeles called "Little Tokyo" and I kept worrying they were going to think I was lying about the previous week. LOL!

That really sucks... Same think happened to me back in August of 2001. Took me 3 months to recover. I'm really sorry to hear about that. It can be a very stressfull situation.
