I've been seriously considering this particular model.
A photographer I spoke to recently raves about it, and I have seen some of the pictures it has taken.

Price seems right too.
Comments from the pros out there?

Looks nice, but I don't know much about cameras personally.
Are you going to purchase that one?

have not used that one specifically, but we've got the step down at the day job - I think it's the s6100. To say the least, it's totally amazing for the price. Image quality is superb and the features are very nice.

Only thing I can say is if you get it, get the largest xD card you can find, and then get a spare to keep with you. We've only got 1 GB in ours and that's good for a whopping 13 minutes of video on it. Now, video is secondary, but even the video quality is amazing.

Thanks for the advice. I think I am going to get this one. I agree that for the money, it's an amazing camera.
