Some of the best views in the world

I didn't post pics but feel free... :)

What are some of the very best views you have ever had in your life?
Mine would definitely include:

- The Grand Canyon
- from the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris
- looking down on NYC from 35,000 feet in an aircraft
- Interlaken, Switzerland. Look in ANY direction.

- Golfing in Bermuda Tuesday was pretty spectacular.
- Driving from Alberta to BC from the Southern route offers some of the best views.
- Tofino Island
- Roof top pool in Barcelona over looking the old bull fighting ring and the city was spectacular
- Top of the Guinness Brewery in Dublin offered up a 360 pan view of the city and land

The grand canyon was interesting for all of about five minutes.... after that it's nothing more than a large hole in the ground.

There are so many places Ive been to.. And still so many places I need to go.. so its hard to choose.

But I would say there are some truly Breath taking views in Namibia. Also, one thing that will bring you alot of great views and memories is to drive through Europe, and instead of taking all the bigger roads, head into smaller ones and enjoy the landscape. Ive seen some amazing castles and landscapes in france thanks to this, amazing mountains and forest views in Spain, Norway, iceland... etc..

Gotta go check my old school photoalbum to remember them all (oldschool = non digital) ;-)

But ok.. a short list:

Lots of places in Namibia.
Souther Spain, Granada, and especially: alhambra and the surroundings there.

Good thread Chris! Reminds me to start travelling more again! ;-)
