I know who they are, but thankfully my kid isn't into them. I think they are all gay.

You know when you're getting older when the Jonus Brothers reminds you of bands like Monkey's or the 60s Jesus movement

Their is of course nothing wrong with being gay. When I called them gay I didn't mean it like they are spending their free time taking it up the ass with their other boyfriends.

Maybe I meant to use the word "queer".

When I look back at the music I listened to when I was a kid, some of it was so damn stupid I feel like an idiot. When these kids look back at listening to these kids, well, they'll feel the same way.

I remember listening to warren g and snoop dog, then moving over to Nirvana as a youngster.

The Jonas Brothers seem more like .. Milli Vanilli, manufactured pop/rock, or for you real old timers the monkies!

Wow... For me, it was Duran Duran, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, Madonna (the beginnings), Eurythmics...

all good stuff! I think it all depends on what 'young' means. lol

Madonna got her career not long after I got out of high school. The Monkeys were great! but I was a little kid when they first aired on TV

I'm 48 now - just about everything is relearning. I try to keep up with new trends an push myself to accept a great deal of what's coming out. Yet late at night, I snuggle up in bed with a drink and watch B&W movies - anything before 1950 and relax wondering where did all the worlds values go
