I like watching the World Cup as well even though I'm not a rabid soccer fan. I guess I get caught up in the excitement of such an important global sports competition.
I'd have to say my favoured team is Deutschland. I lived in Germany for 4 years from 88 to 92 and in that time I learned an appreciation for the game. Soccer (fussball) is popular there like NFL football in the states.
