A letter to the editor of Games magazine which had a review of Mummy Maze from PopCap games:
" A-MAZE-ING BUT UNORIGINAL
I have news for you: PopCap’s Mummy Maze described in “Hot Java: Game Applets Rule the Net” (May GAMES) is indeed clever, but it’s far from “very original” as your article claims. It’s virtually identical with Robert Abbott’s “Theseus and the Minotaur” maze, which first appeared in his 1990 book Mad Mazes. It has also been an applet on his wonderful website since 1998. I’m sure many of your readers would enjoy Abbott’s outstanding collection of playable mazes at www.logicmazes.com.
