Agree... Most of the selections on that list are old b/w movies dealing with dialogue and a real story... No car chases, special effects, or blazing gun battles really... just developed plot that's engaging and extertaining...
A more recent movie of this type is called "Closetland" and stars Alan Rickman (
Die Hard villian and Sheriff in
Robin Hood movies) Definate mind-fuck type of movie if you enjoy that sort of mental entertainment... ;^Ð
