The storyline was a US punk kid coming to play Canada's game.
Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze played for a team in Hamilton and their arch nemesis was the Thunder Bay Bombers.
The league, I'm assuming would be something similiar to the OHL or WHL as the players were waiting to be drafted.
