I dont think flowers are that expensive.
Sure, some bouquets are expensive, especially the bigger ones that are custom and put together by the florists themselves, but if you are on a tight budget, theres no need to buy those.
Compared to other things (gifts or whatever), that someone can give to another , I would say flowers are cheap.
And if money is a problem, you can get the message across with one single flower and a "I LUUUV YOU" note. hehe. A friend of mine has the money, but dont wanna spend it, so he buys one single rose each time he gives it to his girlfriend..
cost of that single rose: 3$.
Effect of that single rose: Happy girlfriend that feels appreciated. Lots of hot sex.
