Not sure who has seen it - so if you haven't, don't read on if you want to read the spoiler.
Okay, so how many years have passed - and two of the greatest cinematic story tellers team up - get ahold of one of the best loved hero's, and what happens - ET.
I was happy to see him in action again, and my friend and I watched it with great joy. Thankfully it didn't suck as bad as Temple of Doom - but surely they could have worked on a script that put a bit more reality into it then aliens. My hope was that they were going to Atlantis - to find the great city.
Oh well - I still enjoyed it and the final scene Im glad they didnt' let his son wear the hat symbolizing passing the torch over.

I still haven't seen it but I don't mind reading "spoilers"... or what could be spoiled in an Indiana Jones movie. It's not like spoiling "The Crying Game" haha...
I did enjoy all the others though, so I'll probably end up seeing this one as well eventually. I have to say however, that Harrison Ford does look a little weathered to be playing that role once again.
I saw it... I liked it. Some people have hated it, some have said it is not Speilberg's best work, well duhh, but as far as a 4th in a series, not to mention done 20 yrs later, it is alright. Special effects were good, just outside the realm of reality so it fills the fantasy interest...
i took a date ad it was worth the dinner and the movie
I liked the movie until the last 10 minutes. It's obvious where the skull comes from the minute you see it but I think they took it a little too far... But other than that, it's a great Indiana Jones in the sense that it's the same successful recipe.
