I'm a Mom!
Within about 30 minutes of coming home tonight, I'm the new mommy of an approximately 8 week old kitten.
She was abandoned by a family that moved out and they left the kitten as a surprise house warming gift for the new tenants. The kitten was alone for a few days. She had food and water, but was all alone.
I'm not sure of the whole story of how some of the neighborhood kids rescued this kitten, but it was clear to the parents that this kitten was indeed abandoned. New tenants have not yet moved in.
The kitten then ended up with my downstairs neighbor who is also an animal lover. Her cat doesn't think much of this kitten and she needs to set limits or her kids will bring home all kinds of animals. She agreed to take the kitten for a day or so until she can take it to a pet shop or some pet adoption place.
Well needless to say, I'm a sucker for animals. After holding this kitten, I was hooked. 
Her name is Angelie and thankfully, she knows what a litter box is and what it is used for. LOL!

That's so awesome.. I love kittens. A part of me wishes me cat never grew up... cause he was so unbelievably adorable as a kitten.
They are still great grown up, but there's just something so youthful and innocent about having a playful kitten around.

thats cool, looks just like one we have..although I must say I hate hate btu I love animals in general and the kid likes the kittens so they can hang around a little longer

Vic from Blue Content found a kitten a couple of months ago and couldn't keep it due to his puppy and other cats in the house.
Pig joined the family and now a full fledge member with his own room.
Okay so now I have 4 cats, its offical I have become the crazy cat lady!!

Awwww... Thanks everyone. She seems to be adjusting to her new home ok. She didn't get into trouble when I went to bed last night. This morning was a different story. LOL!
She decided to explore behind the entertainment set and get into all kinds of things. She got spritzed with a water bottle. As soon as she got spritzed, she went hauling ass down the hall, jumped in my lap, and began to tell me all about getting spritzed. LOL!
As much as I wanted to console her, I can't start that habit because she will never learn what she can and can't get into. I could see the anger in her little face when I put her down, but it wasn't long before she was back to take a nap next to my keyboard.

LOL! Now that would be funny to see these two meet! The downstairs neighbor told me that the kitten walked right up to her cat and swatted at it to try and get the cat to play. The cat wanted nothing to do with the kitten. I wonder if she would try and do the same thing to Clyde? LOL! |
