Are you an audiophile or a videophile?
Personally, I am an audiophile. Not insomuch that I continuously purchase the latest and greatest audio equipment, but more that I like to play with and edit audio files with my wave studio.
I've tried it with video clips, but I don't get near the same kinds of results with video.

I lean more towards the video. I've gotten into converting videos from one format to another and then chopping them into bits to be used for affiliates and all kinds of other stuff. The non-porn movies are fun to manipulate too.
The only personal audio stuff I mess with is my collection of MP3's. Even still, I don't really get into mixing them and chopping them all up. The extent of my knowledge in that area is being able to equalize the volume before burning to CD.

Well since I need to become more of a videophile... does anyone have any recommendations on a VERY user-friendly video editing software?
Please don't say Premiere!

I am a little of both but with a lean towards video...
Part of a project I am working on requires video editing. I am currently practicing in the little editor that comes with XP however, I just got a copy of Premiere Pro, so I look forward to where that will take me.
