I knew it was from a comedy show but I didn't know it was staged.

I have no idea what that comedy show is so I don't know if its funniest home videos style or if it's staged

yeah it was staged, sorry to ruin the magic of it!

Reno 911 is kind of like the "Airplane" of "Cops" I've watched it here and there, and some of it's funny while others it's ok.

It seemed totally real until the cop started doing the boom ba boom bit.

Then again I've seen cops get playful like that when the guy seems harmless and drunk. lol
