I have my domains filtered pretty good. Some times a spam email might slip through and so if it does, it never gets looked at.
A good thing to setup is a bounce. Change the port to something different other than 25. and or use a webbased account after it has been filtered.
Im really against spam and I would delete / ban / person/s who try dumb spam type methods.
I really hate spam.. I feel for you FB.

Yeah. With all of my email accounts, I used to check them to find 4, 5, sometimes 10 copies of the same crap mail, where their spider found each address.
Hmm.
Multiple messages with the same timestamp, matching headers and subject lines. SpamAssassin to the rescue!

am I the only one who gets barely any porn spam??
I think everyone just remembers the porn spam more than the mortgage spam so think they're getting spammed with it more...
Personally, I get 5-6 mortgage mails for every other spam I get...
I won't even get into the stock spams, green card spams and fake diploma spams
I've signed up for a lot of clickbank type stuff, so i don't bitch so much about get rich quick spam...

What's more irritating is blast faxes.
They not only waste your time, but also your ink and paper.
I'm going to set up a fax server at home just to save all that. They come in at all hours of the day and night, too.

I meant that they're trying to sell me something I have no interest in.
selling me something I have plenty of...
anyway...
I've got a really good set of filters, and don't see much spam anymore, except for my work mail, which can't be filtered, just to be sure that nothing important gets lost.

I've opted in a lot, so sometimes forget who I really opted into and who i didn't
but I've bought a micro-mini racer, Terminator bobblehead and the resell rights to a couple ebooks.....
