Music?
Who here makes music in any way, singing, guitar, drums, produces etc?
I sing and play a bit of guitar. I took Musical Theatre for a year in uni too so i know all my theory etc.
One of my old high school friends who produces now just contacted me to sing the hook on one of his tracks, so I gladly excepted and it looks like I have to get the pen and paper back out & write some verses. Thus what prompted me with the idea of this thread..
So who else does any music?

I actually sang many years back and toured throughout ontario - even went to New York for a gig. Those were the day.

I used to be in an awful grunge band called Earwig Fiend back in Pittsburgh. Then I moved to a pop punk band called Pimps R Poets. Neither band did much beyond a few small gigs and open mic nights. I miss it, though. I've tried to hook up with other local musicians but nothing has happened there.

I used to play bass in bands through college!
I miss it, we had a blast! Played alot of shows too.

I read something awhile back about an internet "band". People that have never met, but have laid down tracks for their respective instruments and sent them to each other with one person mixing all the tracks together. That's so crazy but very cool too.

I am a drummer and guitar player. I also do lots of writing on guitar.

That's so cool and there is a precendent. Eric Clapton played in a banbd called Blind Faith, an English band that some call the 1st Super Group. Big egos in the band, they never actually were in the same room together.
BTW, if u can find this album it sytands the test of time. Try downloading "Sea Of Love", "Do What You LIke" and "Presence of the Lord".
