all these negative reviews must be from people who've never used one.
I think its the greatest device ever made. 
I surf, text, call, take pictures, etc. etc.
my ONLY complaint is that if you're not on a wifi (the phone auto detects them and uses them where available) its a little slow to surf.
other than that, every adult internet user should own one. it does it all.
oh, I hear they are completely sold out across the US atm

That's pricey. And also you have to figure in the ISP costs associated with it. I believe I read that they are all inclusive fees for the carriers in the US. Here in Canada, Rogers will likely have a couple different plans available.

It looks cool, but I have heard a lot of stupid reasons why people get them. One guy on the radio said "I have an Ipod, a cell phone and a laptop, so I got this and it does everything". Well dumbass, if you already have all those things, why spend $600 on the iPhone when you can just pay 99 cents for some DUCT TAPE and get the same effect!!!
You'd never lose your phone; plus, imagine the workout you'd get everytime you used it. You couldd eventually stop paying all the money to go to the gym then too!
