Being Mistaken for a PornStar RULES!

So buran and I went to visit JP and Viv this weekend and on the way home I wore my Spread4U shirt.
We stop at one of those turnpike islands for gas, bathroom and ciggie.
Well, as I leave the bathroom, and light up my ciggie, looking around for buran, this group of 3 kids .... 19-20 tops stops me, asks me if Spread4u is in town and with the most goofy happy look i think i have ever seen (think shiny puppy dog eyes here) asks me if I am featured! hahahahahhahahaha (I told them no, and walked off toward buran)
Now, everyone here knows that I tout myself as not being content. However, I have to admit, that I was more than a little flattered that these regular guys (aka surfers) actually thought, and was HOPING i was content hehehehehe
hahahahahhaha totally made my sunday!

Actually, that's what made the situation even more surreal - he knew exactly who I was, he just thought I was famous. He had seen me play at a guitar competition and then ran into me several months later at a concert and freaked out when he saw me.
Some fairly big guitarists were at that competition, and it was broadcast on the radio... I guess he just thought I was among the elite. In reality, I only got in because my friend worked at the club (although I did come in 3rd). |
