Who owes you money? And are you bitter?

Over the years in this biz I am owed money by many different people and/or organizations. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Insite owed me some money when they went under, but they were quite public about officially going bankrupt. I don't really have any hard feelings there anyway, as I was privvy to most of what was going on there.

Porncash owed me a bunch when they just disappeared. I understand they owed a lot of money to a lot of people. Funny thing is that most of the "playas" got their money before Porncash went poof. I never did get the whole story on that, and people tend to be tight-lipped about it. Go figure.

Who owes you money?

The only one who owes me money is from a situation that has faded in memory. No, I'm not bitter. I don't want to "out" him, because the situation would have most likely resolved itself if I hadn't misplaced a document.

This is a "shit happens" business. Sometimes you get obviously and blatantly ripped off, but for the most part..."shit happens" strikes and there isn't anything either party can do about it.

I focus more on the people who have gone out of their way to do things to help me - things that they do professionally - and have done it for me just as a favor.

I'm having a "the glass is half full" kind of day, apparently.

Morgan I'd agree this is a shit happens business. We deal with computers, and computers fail sometimes. But I wouldn't restrict shit happens just to that category. It applies in any business.

I know that many times I've sent money to someone for services knowing that they could run and I'd never hear from them again. Trust comes into play sometimes and sometimes trust gets broken. Shit does happen.

my situation is a little different, I am owed money or something for doing something out of the kindness of my heart with the intentions of being paid later well it is almost 8 months later and still nothing, nice huh!!!

but like everything else I really do believe in KARMA and it will come back to haunt them....

Ugh,many people own me money.It's almost 1000$ in summary.It simply better to not borrow money to anyone.Or if you do for somebody and he own you money,it's better to go away before potencial fall.

My brother always owes me money. I mean hes in college now and I know my parents support but due to his vices and spendthrift he always ended up empty pocket and her I am her sister to the rescue. But everytime he got money he treats me to dinner or bought me something I know that is sweet but he never give me the cash he owed. arrgggggg

I never count all those money I gave him bec. I know that hes also my responsibility, but one time when he asked me cash I told him that this will be the last time bec. since he stop schooling now. He got mad of course and saying those nasty words but I told him its time for him to work for the money, since my parents also too stop supporting him. I just really hope he will know now and realized that he need to stand up himself.

I don't really pay attention to who owes me money in my personal life. I'm a generous person by nature and if I can help someone out I will. Generally I trust that they'll repay it, and most of the time they do... but sometimes you get screwed. I'm a sucker though and even though I know i'm not going to get money back from certain close friends.. they're still my friends and I'll still help them out when I can.

Professionally though, While our business model is based entirely on trust, IE we'll send traffic on the assumption that you'll pay us for it at the end of the month, we've been hit a couple of times, but for the most part it's ok
