Hi All, I'm a Newbie! Any help Would Be Gr8!
Hi,
Just like to say I've been looking for a furum like this for while, so thanks! 
I'm currently running www.pocketsexclips.com it's doing alright getting about 300 hits per day but I just don't seem to be getting any return, the conversions seem few and far between.  Also google seems to be alergic to the site, even when I type in pocket sex clips it doesn't come up, which is really hindering the visits.  Most of the traffic I have gained is through Bit torrents and various PSP forums.
It's just me I haven't any others working on the site with me so even through I'm enjoying it, it is taking it's toll...
Any advice, suggestions, link exchanges etc would be wicked.

Be patient, You have a REAL good thing going on there, seriously. Not just financially but to the Industry also. Everything is moving to mobile and it is just a matter of time my friend. Since the mobile market is so new and you jumped in early I am sure you will spend most of your time creating the market. Good luck and welcome to the board.

Thanks for that, it gives me some much needed encouragement.
Just wish there was a way of getting it to google better. I was thinkning of leaving the mobile scalable pages alone but revamping the main PC page as a blog, as Blogs seem to always get really good rankings and search results? Good idea?

Thought I'd update this...
I'm now getting in the region of 150,000 hits a week and 700 Uniques a day, and I'm still flat broke!
How could I add a £1 lifetime membership or similar to 1 particular page, the porn exchange, http://www.pocketsexclips.com/script ?? And keep the rest of the site free, what programs is best for adding registration/passwords etc also which is the best Pay client for XXX sites, Paypal is not an option as they've already pissed me off, due to stupid bias and unfair,unclear rules.

Still majorly skint, do you think I should try adding a very cheap membership for the Mobile Porn Exchange Pages? Just so I can make a little cash or just keep promoting and advert optimize the site... The bandwidth also keeps been exceeded and the site suspended so I might end up putting all the large files with easy-share.com so I can work on promotion, at the minute when I promote the site shuts down due to excessive bandwidth! Doh!

That's the hosting company £4.50 per month for 3000GB transfer, 3100GB Webspace as long as your not hitting the 100GB per limit per day they are superb.

I've been hard at work with the new design for my front pages www.pocketsexclips.com - Still got a way to go but I think it looks a lot better. I'm trying to more accurately target the customers to get some cash from my affiliate promotions, I was offering too much free stuff before maybe...
BTW Sorted the bandwidth issue out, I bought another Servage account in the end and linked to it, so with the extra 3000GB per month I've been ok...
Anyway here's hoping and feel free to give me your comments/suggestions or anything really...

An Update...
Hi,
just checking in again, I've hooked up with some big boys in promotion etc and it looks like I'm gonna be competing with the other mobile porn sites. They mentioned they would sort out everything content, billing, promotion and I would just run other elements like managing the affiliate promotions and the overview of the running site. They would want in the region of 40% to do this, anyone got any thoughts for this? Many Thanks for your support. |

Be great to hear from anyone, who actually might batter an eyelid that I actually try to keep this thread updated! 
PocketSexClips IS STILL GOING!! 2 Years this month... Longest Project For Me Ever, nearly the longest I've ever held down a job... 
And still making a few quid a month, well upto £200 a month now but it's still pretty crap compared to what you seasoned webmasters are probably on  ..
Big boys and me didn't end up working together and I haven't sold it yet either - damn.. well kinda damn, kinda good...
I've met someone else woohoo, who seems a good guy, PHP orientated this time and we're gonna work on making some serious cash together hopefully, just going over terms and stuff, but PSC is looking up once again....
