I live with someone who has a tendency to walk around with things. I'll find the remote in another room where there is no TV. I'll find an oven mit laying on his desk in his office. I'll find misc. computer or electronic parts scattered around. I go through every pocket when I do the laundry because I never know what I might be accidently washing if I don't. Then the kicker is, he will hunt for something for like maybe 2 minutes before asking me if I've seen it or know where it is. Drives me nuts. LOL!

I replied, check the couch or your coat pocket. She came back amazed that they were in her coat pocket laying on the couch and wondered how I knew
Basically I played the odds that when my wife looses her keys those are the two main places that they are found.
